Care of silicone body

Dark-colored or synthetic fiber clothing may cause color migration if worn for extended periods of time. We recommend that you have your child wear light-colored natural fabrics or cotton stain-preventive items, and change clothes regularly.

  • 1Regular care with baby powder

    Due to the nature of silicone material, a trace amount of oil may ooze out, which is not visible to the eye. We recommend applying baby powder with a puff or brush once every three months. Dust and fibers can also be wiped off by applying baby powder with a puff or brush.

  • 2When dust or dirt adheres

    When dust or fibers adhere to the surface, use tape or baby powder to remove them. If dirt adheres to the surface, wipe it off with a tissue or cotton swab moistened with thinner (paint thinner).

  • 3When color migration occurs

    When a dark-colored costume is worn for a long period of time, the dye may transfer (color migration) to the body. If the transferred color is light, it may fade away naturally in a maximum of one to two months, but if the color is dark and clear, it will require maintenance to remove the color by applying a tissue or cotton ball moistened with paint thinner for several minutes.

  • The silicone part should be moved slowly to avoid damage and deterioration.
  • Contacting the silicone surface with hard or sharp objects such as knives, fingernails, or metal accessories may cause scratches on the silicone surface. Please be careful when handling. If you stick a thin string or hard object to the surface, it may cause a mark or dent on the surface.
  • (It is no problem if you press it lightly with parts or clothes.) Also, please note that the marks may not recover if you tighten it continuously for more than one week. If a mark remains after a short period of time, such as during a photo shoot, it will gradually recover naturally within a week to a month or two if you rub it a little. (The time required for recovery varies depending on the time of tightening and the degree of tightening marks.)
  • The silicone part of the body is made by hand by craftsmen one by one, so parting lines will remain.
